We try to help animals in need in our area. Got a call from Chief of Police in nearby town that Beau had been in pound for 30 days; and, even though they didn't want to look at euthanization, he had to go somewhere. Beau is a 2 year old Pittbull. He is now neutered and UPD on vaccinations. He's a very happy, wiggley boy who is always smiling. He loves people and is very good with all other dogs. Even the more pushy/aggressive dogs he will just roll over smiling for. We have 15 other rescue dogs and he gets along with all of them. Was a jumper but we are working on that. Very smart boy who would love to be a lapdog. He is very excited to jump on cats, so we say no cats until someone can work with him on that. I think this boy could be taught to do anything. He's very smart and loves to watch your face for your next command. He sits and stays for his meals. He is a runner and that is why he ended up in the pound; so, he will have to have a fenced yard with some room to run or take him running/walking. He loves to spend time with people. We took him to a pet event at Tractor Supply and he did fabulous meeting new people, kids and other dogs. Beau loves the water but can not swim! Top heavy. We bought him a life vest so he could go in the pond. I've never seen a dog so happy.
